Itinerary

 
Day 1: Arrive Arusha
Arrival into Arusha's Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will be met by our team outside the arrival halls. Transfer to your hotel where you will be assisted to check-in. Safari briefing. Overnight stay on Bed and Breakfast basis.
 
Day 2: Arusha
Meals at the lodge. Rest of the day at leisure or to opt for the activities available at the lodge.
 
Day 3: Arusha - Maramboi - Lake Manyara National Park
Breakfast at the lodge and and drive to Lake Manyara National Park passing through Makuyuni. Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded and include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. Large mammals abound. Game drive in the park and proceed to the camp for check in and lunch. Dinner and overnight stay.
 
Day 4: Maramboi - Tarangire National Park
Breakfast at the camp and depart for Tarangire National Park; the Park’s permanent water supply ensures a huge and varied animal population, especially during the dry season when it rivals that of the Serengeti. The animals include large herds of elephants, rhino, buffalo, zebra, lesser and greater kudu, eland, wildebeest, hartebeest, gerenuk, impala and fringe-eared Oryx. This attractive park, with its statuesque baobab trees, is the main refuge for wildlife from the surrounding part of the Great Rift Valley during the dry season. Game drives in the park till sundown with picnic lunches.

Day 5: Maramboi - Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at the lodge and depart, passing through Karatu, to Serengeti National park which is a home to the "big five" of rhinoceros, lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo the park also supports many species of wildlife which includes cheetah, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, topi, eland, water buck, hyena, baboon, impala, African wild dog and giraffe. The park also boasts about 500 bird species, including ostrich, secretary bird, Kori bustard, crowned crane, marabou stork, martial eagle, lovebirds and many species of vultures. Arrive at the camp, check in and have a hot lunch. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight stay.
 
Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Full day in Serengeti National park with at least two game drives. Admire the endless rolling plains, large herds of antelopes and birds in this unspoilt wilderness. All meals and accommodation at the camp.
 
Day 7: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Breakfast and depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The road passes through a beautiful countryside inhabited by pastoralists with large herds of cows and goats, with volcanic hills and flat topped acacias. Arrive at the lodge, check in. Descend into the crater for a 6 hour game drive with packed lunches. Ngorongoro is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest un flooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq. kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. Ascend to the lodge late in the afternoon, dinner and overnight stay.
 
Day 8: Depart Ngorongoro - Arusha
07h30: Breakfast at the lodge and drive via Karatu and Manyara to Arusha. Lunch break at a selected restaurant in town and later transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back.
